Now some of you may be wondering what this is all about. Allow us to explain! Dansou Café’s are similar to Maid Café’s only there is one major difference. In Japanese “Dansou” translates to: Disgusing ones self as a man. So, in a nut shell: Females dress up as gentlemen and take on a completely different persona for the purpose of entertaining, and serving the guests. You’ll find very different, well thought out and developed male characters that have in depth relationships with one another. You also get to sit back and interact with these guys and watch the drama and shonen-ai unfold all while munching on a yummy snack that these delightful bishonen serve to you. You can also expect some level of flirting from your hosts since they believe every guest should feel like a princess (or prince) while in attendance at Café Rouge.
When you attend Café Rouge, you have to take on a completely different mindset to fully enjoy the experience. Try to see the hosts as separate entities from their female actors and basically just play along! Call the hosts “he’s”, see them as males and get to know the characters. Everyone has to play a part in keeping up the illusion because that’s the best part of the Café. Talk to the characters and get to know them as they will be trying their best to get to know you too!
First- you have Salvador, a foxy white haired host. Smooth, mysterious, flirty and soft spoken with an affinity for his childhood friend Rory, who happens to be another one of our hosts.
Ah Rory- Rugged good looks, strong arms, and a charming Irish accent. You're bound to enjoy yourself while seated at this host's table. But then again, each host has their own special charms.
Like Draven- Our blonde, confident ladies man with a beautiful smile that will melt your heart. Things are always certain to be exciting with Draven!
Grey is most recognizable by his gorgeous long black hair and manly demeanour. Though he has an endearing temper, you'll only find this loyal host treating guests with the utmost respect.
Next we have the loveable Indigo, half-brother to Grey. You won't find a host with a kinder heart! He is creative, artistic, and has sparkling eyes you'll never forget.
Abel is very fond of his best friend, Indigo and more often than not, you’ll see them together. Abel is kind, outgoing, boisterous, and loves conversing with guests!
Braxton is the “boy-next-door” host. He’s orange haired, talkative, hilarious, and does his very best to please the guests and make them feel at ease. He is adorably awkward at times and he can always make a guest feel special with his unique charms.
Wryker is one of the wonderful new additions to the café. He is simply to die for with his dark rocker make-up and fashion sense. He is a bit rough around the edges and isn’t exactly the fancy type, but you will find he is easy to talk to and quite a bit of fun to be around.
Calixte is the second new addition to the café. Hailing from Australia he is a tall, handsome, and magnificent host. Every guest has a story to tell and he is eager to hear yours!
And last but not least you have Madame Rouge the superior over all the hosts. None are comparable to the Madame of Café Rouge. She simply oozes sophistication and is excellent company, though she can be a bit strict at times. She enjoys a good laugh of course, and most of all enjoys the smiles of her guests
