Hetalia: World Conference

That's right- The World Conference is back! Because of the popularity of this series, we have decided to host a Hetalia-centric event at this year's Animaritime! This event will require teamwork, improvisation and a creative mind! Hetalia: World Conference is a event for Hetalia cosplayers to have a chance to express their country's perspective on a selected number of topics.
Much like the world conference as seen in the beginning of the series (“the super hero-globo-man” -- remember that bit?), or the real United Nations conferences, you will have the chance to talk about issues that will be provided by the organizers. Each country will be represented by a limited number of cosplayers (of that country) that will sign-up beforehand.
The actual event is going to be held on Saturday, but a PRE-MEETING [Saturday, June 30th @ 2pm - Panel room 01] is scheduled for Saturday morning. At this pre-meeting, the topics will be given, cosplayers will get into their groups (countries) to brainstorm their standpoints on the topics/get to know each other, and ask us any questions that you may have. An example of a question might be “What type of food should we get for our next meeting?”. Some topics will be more serious, but they won’t be anything you’ll need to research for hours (but knowing your country’s standpoint on major issues could be useful!)
At the event on Sunday, each country will have a chance to speak their piece on the topics (but time is limited-- please be sure not to ramble too much!). Remember, this is an improv-event as well, so if you want to interject or ask a question to another nation during their discussion, just raise a hand and ask! We want this to be a fun, entertaining and Hetalia-tastic get-together.

✘ Interested cosplayers are to sign-up via email in between June 15th-27th. Please be aware that there will be a participation cap; There will be a max of 10-15 countries. It will be a first come/first accepted basis. As positions fill up, either Rii or Mandie will keep the forums, as well as facebook, updated.
✘ When we begin to accept applications, please send the following information to programming@animaritime.org (subject: World Conference): Real name, age, the country that your are cosplaying, possible topics that you’d like to see be discussed at the conference
✘ This is a team-oriented event. Please be courteous to your team members and cooperate when discussing topics.
✘ You must be cosplaying the country you’re representing.
✘ Racist/sexist/agist/etc. and other derogatory comments will not be tolerated.
✘ If you have a question, or an objection, please raise your hand first!
✘ Small amounts of banter is acceptable, but no out-right fights and skirmishes!
✘ It is strongly recommended that you attend the pre-meeting on Saturday.
✘ There are to be NO seizing of any country’s vital regions. Sorry!
